Meet our staff:

Mike Kehn

 

Michael Kehn has been in ministry for the past several years counseling and encouraging men, women, married couples, teens and children alike. He has a passion for the lost and brokenhearted and believes in the resurrection power of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Fathers endless love, grace and forgiveness.   

Michael was bound by the cares of this world himself for many years until his encounter and baptism of the Holy Spirit. Michael has been giving back to others what has been given to him, hope for a new life. He is a Certified N.C.C.A. Pastoral Counselor, Temperament Therapist and currently serves as the Youth Pastor at Faith Outreach Center Church in Tampa, FL. Along with the joys of reaching out to the lost in the community, speaking at local events and fundraisers, Michael has been blessed with three adult children and his beautiful wife Natalie who also is a minister and counselor at A Woman's Place Ministries, which is a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Tampa, FL.

"I believe in the stirring up the gift of God and the laying on of hands" 2 Tim. 2:6, but there's more. Jesus' ministry consisted of three areas: deliverance, teaching and healing. He revealed to me that deliverance is His Power, teaching is His Wisdom and healing is His Love, and the greater of these is Love 1 Cor. 13:13.  I believe lacking in any one of these areas is missing the mark.

My hopes and prayers for you are that you will learn and know the truth and be set free. Jesus spoke;  "the thief does not come except to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they might have life, and that might have it more abundantly". John 10:10

Kathy Cunningham

 

 

Kathy Cunningham, has been working in ministry for over 25 years in various ministries and positions.  She has a Master's Degree in Christian Counseling, has previously worked at two local churches facilitating support groups, training volunteers and working with individuals to overcome obstacles in their lives to move forward to fulfill God's purposes.  She is a Certified Stephen Minister and worked for 10 years at A Woman's Place Ministries, which is a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Tampa, FL.  Her role at AWPM was overseeing and coordinating the Life Coaching Program for clients.  Kathy is also an ordained minister and a Certified Life Purpose Coach.

 

 

Kathy's desire and passion is to encourage and motivate people during difficult times and seasons of change with hope and fresh vision.  To partner in building skills and using new tools to develop healthy relationships in all areas of their lives.  Speciality areas include but are not limited to; marriage coaching, pre-marriage counseling, boundaries coaching, anger management, sexual health and post-abortion healing.

 

 

Kathy has been married to her husband John for 33 years and has two adult children.

 

 

Kathy loves people and the scripture that best describes what her calling and her prayer is:

Isaiah 50:4 "The Sovereign Lord has given me His words of wisdom, so that I know what to say to all these weary ones.  Morning by morning He wakens me and opens my understanding to His will."

Dr. Mickey L. Walters

 

On June 12, 1973, Jesus Christ took residence in my heart and has lived there ever since. Immediately, God called me into His service.

 

Dr. Walters and her husband, Dr. George Walters, Jr., founded and pastor Faith Outreach Center Church in Tampa, FL, since 1983.  Faith Outreach Center is also home to Faith Outreach Academy and Faith Theological  Seminary and Christian College.  Throughout Dr. Walter's Christian life, she has been a pastor's wife, Sunday School teacher and director, Academy Administrator, college teacher,  counselor, and led a women's prison ministry.  She has been on the foreign mission field throughout the Caribbean and in Korea preaching and teaching the Gospel.  Dr. Walters is a conference speaker, crossing denominational lines by encouraging women to live for Christ.  Her motivating force is to be led by the Holy Spirit to minister the Word of God and mentor and train men and women in their calling.

 

Dr. Walters attended Moody Bible College and graduated with a  B.S. in Theology from International Bible Institute and Seminary in 1988.  She later received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from International (IBI).

 

Dr. Walters is a seasoned counselor, earning a M.A. in Christian Counseling from Whitfield Theological Seminary in 1990, and a M.A. in Pastoral Psychology and Counseling from Faith Theological Seminary also in 1990.

 

Dr. Walters is a member of the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA) since 1991 as a Licensed Pastoral Counselor; and National Board of Christian Clinical Therapists since 1995.

She is an ordained minister of the Gospel with Faith Outreach Center since 1991; and the National Christian Conservative Church since 2001.

 

Dr. Walters received a Certificate of Appointment from Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners from 1998-2000 on the Tampa/Hillsborough Cable Advisory Committee.  Her voice was heard on this commission to clean up the public access programming in the county.  She is dedicated to family values and her stand has been felt throughout Tampa and Hillsborough County.  She is an advocate for Christian education, Pro-Life, and family values in the home.

 

Dr. Walters has five grown children, 10 grandchildren and two great-grand children.
